Tribute paid to mother and daughter from Littleport who died in A10 crash
A father whose wife and daughter died in a crash on the A10 says the "love they gave him" will stay with him forever. Josefina Gatdula, 71, and daughter Jonifel Mae Gatdula, 25, both of Friars Way, Littleport, died in a collision between their Audi and an HGV fuel tanker.

It happened at about 6.40pm on 12 February on a single carriageway road, which runs parallel to Chettisham. The HGV left the road and came to rest in a nearby field, while the Audi was pushed 100m further up the road.
In a statement, Josefina's husband and Jonifel Mae's dad, Felix, said: "On February 12 I lost my wife, Josefina, and our daughter, Jonifel Mae - two people who were my whole world. "Josefina was the heart of our home, full of strength, kindness, and unwavering love. Jonifel Mae was our miracle, a bright and gentle soul who carried her mother's warmth.
"Their absence has left a void that can never be filled, but the love they gave will stay with me forever. "I am deeply grateful to our family, friends, and community for the support and compassion you have shown during this unimaginable time. My thanks also go to the first responders who cared for them with such kindness.
"As we lay them to rest, I ask for privacy while we grieve.
Josefina and Jonifel Mae will forever live in my heart. Until we meet again. I love you both."
The HGV driver, a 40-year-old man from Basildon in Essex, was checked over by paramedics but was uninjured. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until 10 May pending further enquiries. An investigation was launched and officers appealed for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the vehicles in the moments leading up to it.
Anyone who still wishes to submit information can contact police online[1], quoting Operation Eastcote or incident 455 of 12 February.
