Two people rushed to hospital after lorry crash near Crowland

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash[1] on the Cambridgeshire[2] border. Lincolnshire Police were called to the crash on the A16 at Crowland, near Peterborough[3], at around 8.30am on Wednesday (March 25).

The crash involved a lorry and red MG car. Two people were taken to hospital.

A police spokesperson said: "It was reported to us at 8.30am today and refers to a collision between an HGV and a red MG car on the slip road of the B1166 (Hulls Drove) and the A16 at Crowland.

"Two people have been taken to hospital.

The road has been re-opened."

Stagecoach buses travelling between Crowland and the Queensgate shopping centre in Peterborough were disrupted.
