Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash on M5
The crash is thought to have involved a car, a heavy goods vehicle and at least one LGV just before 1pm today

A motorist was injured after a multi-vehicle crash on the M5 motorway today.
It happened on the northbound carriageway just after junction 1 at 12.59pm on Monday, March 23.
The crash was thought to have involved a car, a lorry and at least one long goods vehicle.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service[3] spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a multi-vehicle RTC on the northbound M5, just after junction 1, at 12.59pm.

"One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor, with a Critical Care Paramedic, attended the scene.
"We treated one patient, a woman, for minor injuries before she was taken to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further assessment."
Traffic was halted while the vehicles were recovered. It prompted delays for around an hour.
Traffic data monitor Inrix said: "Severe delays and two lanes closed due to accident on M5 Northbound from J1 A4252 Kenrick Way (West Bromwich / Birmingham[4]) to M6 Interchange.

"Lane three (of three) re-opened again at 2:40pm after temporary hold of traffic.
Lanes one and two remain closed."
