Arrest after M6 toll crash leaves man injured

A man has been arrested after a crash on the M6 Toll in Staffordshire left a man seriously injured.

Staffordshire Police said it happened at about 06:00 BST on Friday on the northbound carriageway between junctions T6 and T7, just before the Norton Canes services.

The force said a black Peugeot Partner van was involved.

A 30 year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.

A 23-year-old man from Belgium was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail.
