A motorcyclist who was in collision with a Land Rover and Volkswagen ID.3 in Collingbourne Ducis has died, Wiltshire Police have said.

Officers and paramedics were called to the incident shortly after 10am on April 19 on the A346 following a collision involving the three vehicles.

The road was closed for several hours as police carried out an investigation.[1]

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southampton Hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries but sadly died at the weekend.

At the time investigators said they were keen to hear from anyone who was travelling from the unnamed road leading onto the A346 past The Shears Inn at around 10am on the morning of April 19 - in particular they were keen to speak to the driver of a blue Audi A1.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family who are being supported by specialist trained officers."
