Officers then searched his home and discovered around 50 further deals of heroin and crack cocaine, along with scales.

The defendant, now of no fixed address, later admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.

He appeared before Stafford Crown Court on Thursday, April 16, where he was sentenced to two years and six months behind bars.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire[5] Police said: "Drug stops like this are taking place every single day in Staffordshire[6] as part of our ongoing efforts to tackle the organised crime groups responsible for drug dealing in our communities.

"This type of crime often involves the exploitation of vulnerable local people, who use violence and intimidation as a means of coercing people into dealing drugs on their behalf.
