A couple has died in hospital after being involved in a "serious collision" in Peterborough[1]. The crash happened at around 11.20am on March 9 on the roundabout on the A1139 Fletton Parkway at the junction with Boongate.
It involved a silver Ford Kuga and a white DAF lorry. The driver of the Ford Kuga, Graham Tabbitt, 81, and his wife Virginia, 80, both of Victoria Avenue, Whittlesey, were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries.
The couple passed away in the same hospital over the weekend of March 21.
The driver of the lorry was not injured.
He remained at the scene to help officers with their enquiries. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
Cambridgeshire[2] Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the vehicle before the crash, has information about the incident or has relevant dashcam footage should contact the police.
