The family of a man who died in a crash say their "hearts are destroyed". Jordan Orrock lost his life when the car he was driving was involved in a collision on the A1 near Chester-le-Street[1], County Durham[2], on Sunday.
The 20-year-old, from South Shields[3], South Tyneside[4], was driving a black Mercedes A Class which is believed to have struck the central reservation before coming to rest on its roof. Jordan's family have now released a touching tribute in which they say he was "the life and soul of the party who lit up every room he walked into". They said: "Jordan will be sadly missed by his mam, Angela, his siblings Ryan, Lewis, Jamie, and Charlie, his right-hand man, his dog, Tyson, and his beloved family and friends.
"Jordan was the life and soul of the party who lit up every room he walked into. Our family's hearts are destroyed.
We would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time, and would ask that we are left alone to grieve in peace."
Another 20-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, sustained life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI)[5] in Newcastle[6] and died on Monday night. Advertisement
