Lane cordoned off at M20 Junction 8 in Maidstone towards A20 Ashford Road after crash
A lane has been blocked at a major junction due to a crash involving a van and a car. Emergency services are at the scene of the incident on the M20 Junction 8 in Maidstone, near Leeds Castle.
One lane heading off the Hollingbourne interchange towards the A20 Ashford Road is currently cordoned off by police. A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers were called at 6.24am on Thursday, April 16, to reports of a collision involving a van and a car on the Londonbound slip road off the M20 J8 near Maidstone.
"Officers are in attendance while the road is cleared. No injuries have been reported." On X, formerly known as Twitter, Kent County Council Highways stated: "Reports of a road traffic collision on the roundabout at Junction 8 of the M20.
"Please use caution on the approach and expect delays."
