Lorry crash causes log spillage across M3 carriageway

The M3 at Junction 5 near Hook is currently closed in both directions after a lorry crashed on the Southbound/Westbound carriageway. The police said: "We were called at 3.11pm to a collision on the M3 after a lorry collided with the central reservation."

Emergency services are on the scene and a diversion route is in place via the entry and exit slip roads.

The crash has caused traffic chaos with 30-minute delays and congestion building on the nearby A30 which runs parallel to the M3.
