M6 traffic LIVE: Lancashire motorway chaos as car flips and police swarm scene

Lancashire Police have said the incident involves a collision between a BMW and a Toyota truck.

A force spokesperson said: "We were called at about 7.45am to reports of a collision on the M6 South between J33 and 32. Two vehicles are involved - a BMW car and a Toyota truck which ended up on its side. Emergency services are on scene and thankfully it appears no one is seriously inured.

Two of three lanes remain closed at this time."
