Man dies in A500 crash

A pedestrian has died in an A500 crash. The collision closed a section of the A500.

Tragedy struck at the Porthill junction at 7.30pm on Saturday 11 April.

A Staffordshire Police[1] spokesman said: "We were called to the A500 following reports of a man who came into collision with a black Skoda. Sadly, the man, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. We are appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact us." Advertisement
