Motorcycle passenger killed in crash with lorry

A woman in her 70s has been killed in a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a lorry.

Emergency services were called to the A4136 Mireystock Crossroads, near Upper Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, at about 16:55 BST on Wednesday.

The passenger of a grey Moto Guzzi motorcycle was declared dead at the scene.

The rider, a man aged in his 70s, was taken to hospital where he remains.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said the driver of a white Nissan dropside lorry was not hurt in the crash.
