Biker injured in serious hit-and-run crash in Harlow

The incident occurred on Second Avenue, near the A414 junction in Harlow, involving a car, believed to be a silver BMW, and a motorbike. The crash happened at around 5pm on Wednesday, May 13. It was reported that the silver BMW attempted a U-turn and struck a motorbike, causing the rider to fall off.

Scene - The incident happened on the Second Avenue junction to the A414 (Image: GSV) The car driver reportedly left the scene before police arrived. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital and remains there.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage to aid their investigation.
