Chelmsford traffic after crash shuts Army and Navy junction

Part of the Army and Navy roundabout is currently blocked following a collision in Chelmsford on the A1114 Van Diemans Road westbound, at its junction with the A1060 Parkway. Traffic is reported to be moving very slowly in the area as a result of the incident, which happened on the roundabout. The full circumstances of the crash are not yet known.

Essex Police has been contacted for comment.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the incident is ongoing.
