Crash on A35 near Bere Regis causing delays

A white convertible is facing the wrong way on the eastbound carriageway of the A31 after a crash near to the Townsend Roundabout. The front end of the of the car has caved in and a police van and police car are in attendance. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and there are no reports of any injuries, police said.

Officers are directing traffic whilst recovery is arranged. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 7.13am to a report of a single vehicle collision on the A35 at Bere Regis. Officers are in attendance.

There are no injuries reported.

Recovery is being arranged."
