Mini driver taken to hospital after crash on A171 near Scaling Dam

A driver was taken to hospital after a crash on the A171 near to Scaling Dam. At 2.20pm on Friday, May 15, a white Mini was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Transit van.
It happened as the vehicles were travelling along the A171 eastbound carriageway. The driver of the Mini was taken to James Cook University Hospital[1] for treatment, and the driver and passenger of the Ford Transit were treated at the scene.

They are also appealing for any dash cam footage to be submitted.
