Police name woman struck and killed on A1

A woman who was struck and killed on the A1 in Lincolnshire earlier this month has been named by police.
Mel Genrich, 52, from, Edinburgh, died after being hit by a car at South Witham on 9 May at about 21:30 BST.
Lincolnshire Police previously said a woman and a man had parked in a layby on the southbound lane near The Fox pub and had crossed the road with their dog, which was also killed when they were struck on the northbound side.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving before being released under investigation[1].
