A50 live updates as police and paramedics at crash

Police and paramedics are at the scene of an A50 crash. The collision - involving a lorry and a caravan - has happened on one of the slip-roads off Sideway roundabout.

The collision was reported at around midday today.

It comes as a vehicle has also overturned on the M6 northbound between junctions 15 and 16; the A500 is 'partially blocked' from Audley to the junction 16 roundabout; and it is taking 20 minutes to reach the junction 15 M6 roundabout.

The Sentinel has approached Staffordshire Police[1] and West Midlands Ambulance Service for statements following the collision. Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
