‘Loving’ dad of 3 and ‘devoted husband’ dies after M25 crash between 2 lorries

Tributes have been paid to a 'loving' dad who died after two lorries crashed on the M25[1]. Lorry driver Legton Zulu, 39, died near junction 27 on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the orbital motorway at about 3.10am on Tuesday, June 16.
The crash led to a fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Essex Police[2] is urging anyone with information to come forward.

His family said: "Legton Zulu was a devoted and loving husband, a proud father, a faithful servant of God, and a respected member of his community.
"He leaves behind his beloved wife and their three young sons, aged 9, 6 and 4, who have been deeply affected by his sudden and tragic passing.
"Legton sadly lost his life following a collision involving the work lorry he was driving on the M25 in Essex on Tuesday, June 16 2026. His passing has left his family, friends, colleagues and church community heartbroken.

"A professional HGV driver for more than 15 years, Legton was known for his dedication, integrity and professionalism."
They added: "He also faithfully served as a Deacon in Forward in Faith Ministries International (ZAOGA FIFMI), where he was admired for his humility, commitment and love for God. Legton was a man who genuinely loved people.
"He was kind, generous and always willing to help others. He touched many lives through his friendship, his service, and his passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, faithful servant of God and a true friend to many.
