M5 chaos after crash shuts lanes in Somerset
Long queues formed on the M5 after a crash in Somerset.
Two lanes were closed southbound and emergency services are at the scene following a multi-vehicle crash between Wellington and Tiverton.
Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to multi-vehicle accident on M5 Southbound from J26 A38 (Wellington) to J27 A361 ( Tiverton ).
"Lanes two and three (of three) are now closed, traffic was held around 10:45 to 11:10."
Dramatic pictures from the scene appear to show at one car and a van involved in the crash.
Delays on the road cleared by around 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
