M66 traffic LIVE as all vehicles stopped with six-mile queues due to ‘jack-knifed lorry’

All traffic has been stopped on the M66 southbound near Bury this morning.

It comes as a lorry has 'jack-knifed', according to the Inrix traffic monitoring service.

All vehicles are being held between junctions one at Ramsbottom and two at Bury.

Queues are building up approaching the scene.
