Man, 30s, in ‘serious’ condition as crash shuts M25 between Kent and Surrey
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash on the M25 between Surrey and Kent. The collision happened at junctions six and seven, near Bletchingley, shortly before 10am today (Wednesday, June 24).
The collision[1] involved a white Mercedes Vito van and a white lorry. The driver of the van, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by air ambulance, police said.

The M25 clockwise carriageway between junctions six and seven remains closed[2] while emergency services and National Highways continue their response.
Surrey Police said in an update: "One of the vehicles is currently being recovered, and a significant oil spillage from the collision has caused damage to the road surface. National Highways engineers are carrying out assessments before the carriageway can safely reopen.
"Both lanes of the exit slip road at Junction 6 are now open, allowing motorists to leave the motorway and rejoin at Junction 6 if required. Traffic is being diverted via the M26 and local road networks.
Drivers are advised to continue avoiding the area where possible and to follow National Highways and local travel updates for the latest information. Advertisement Advertisement
