Two injured in crash on busy Cambridgeshire road

Two people have been injured following a crash on the A505 on Wednesday, June 3. Cambridgeshire[1] Police were called at 6.35am this morning to reports of a crash involving a HGV and other vehicles.
The crash happened near Duxford. One of the two people who have been injured has sustained serious injuries. The A505 has been blocked in both directions between Duxford and Pampisford following the collision.
Traffic is building and motorists have been urged by police to avoid the area due to the disruption.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 6.35am this morning to reports of a collision on the A505 near Duxford.
A HGV and other vehicles were involved and two people have been injured, one seriously.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area because of disruption."
Traffic monitoring site Inrix said: "A505 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from Hunts Road (Hunts Road Roundabout, Duxford) to A1301 (Mcdonalds Roundabout, Pampisford).
Congestion to the A11 Abington junction."
