Coach crash closes busy Carmarthenshire road

A crash involving a coach and a van has shut a busy road in Carmarthenshire[1] on Friday evening.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene of a crash on the A40 near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire at around 4.30pm. Police and paramedics are in attendance on the Llandeilo to Nantgaredig road, and drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
The A40 remains closed in both directions from Carmarthen[2] Road in Llandeilo to Pentrefelin and traffic monitoring systems are showings delays in the area.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also called to the scene of the incident, which they say is now under control.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "A40 - Llandeilo to Nantgaredig is currently closed due to an emergency incident.

It comes just over a week after another bus crash in Carmarthenshire[3] saw six people taken to hospital and 19 injured.
It happened on the A484 near the Kidwelly roundabout.
