Teenager dies in crash with lorry near Cambs border

A teenager has died in a crash between a car and a lorry near the Cambridgeshire[1] border. It happened at around 9.55am yesterday (July 6) on the A134 Lynn Road between Stradsett and Shouldham Thorpe in Norfolk[2].

A silver Citroen C3 and a Mercedes-Benz lorry were involved in the crash. The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.

The driver of the Citroen, a man in his teens, died at the scene. A passenger in the Citroen, also a man in his teens, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the lorry suffered from minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. The road reopened at around 4.15pm.

Norfolk Police would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or the manner of driving before the crash.
