Brave Rhian Wood, 24, arrived at the scene shortly after the head-on collision[1] where three men[2] aged 22, 23, 33 and were later rushed to Aberdeen[3] Royal Infirmary.

The photographer told how she jumped from own car[4] to help to pull one of the injured men out of one of the damaged vehicles.

Rhian told how she quickly administered first aid to him and another passenger while waiting for mercy crews to arrive.

She said: “I was second on the scene of a bad head on collision near Drum of Wartle – about 30 seconds after it happened.

“There was also a black car initially looked like it might catch fire[5].

“I gave him first aid to another to stop him drowning on his own blood, whilst making sure his back wasn’t moved.

“I kept an eye on the quiet guy that had walked out of his car but was then laying down on the verge.”

But as Rhian was helping the men, an angry driver arrived and began shouting at her and others to “clear the road” so he could “get home[6]“.

In shocking video[7], which went viral[8] overnight, the man – who was wearing a SafeLife Offshore uniform and driving[9] a company van – is seen loudly complaining about the incident as he walks amongst debris of the collision.

Two damaged vehicles are seen blocking the road while other members of the public assist the injured parties until emergency services[10] arrive.

The 46-second clip shows Rhian advise the unidentified man of an alternative route before he jumped in his van, made a three-point turn and drove off.

Rhian said she was left shaken by the ordeal but was glad she was there to help.

She added: “It was a first for me, hope I never have to do it again.

“But I had to deal with this tosser who drove up aggressively and started shouting saying that I should start clearing the road so he could get home.”

The video of the bizarre encounter has been viewed over 565,000 times and received hundreds of comments since it uploaded on social media[11] last night.

“How would they feel if they were in an accident or it was their nearest and dearest.

“Looks like you did a fabulous job[12] in very difficult circumstances.”

Another wrote: “Tube[13], it’s an RTC, you can’t clear the road till the police[14] have been anyway.”

A third said: “What a t***, it would have been nice[15] if he’d offered you some help, like most decent people would have when faced with situation rather than moaning about not getting home!”

A fourth added: “A fantastic example of professionalism, it is clear health[16] and safety are his main priorities as well as ensuring the safety of others.”

“I hope everyone involved is OK.”

The three men were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, however their condition is unknown.
