Driver fighting for life after horror crash between lorry and van on Scots road

A MAN has been left fighting for his life after a horror crash on a busy Scots road.

Mercy crews were scrambled to the scene on the A90 at Brechin, Angus, at around 2.45pm on Friday following reports of a crash on the southbound carriageway between an HGV lorry and a van.

The male driver of the van was rushed to hospital[1].

Medics have described his condition as critical.

The driver of the HGV did not require medical[2] help.

The road was closed as investigations were carried out.

Cops[3] are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Constable Liam Pattie said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us with any information. If you have dash-cam equipment, please check it for any footage which could assist our ongoing investigation.”
