The married dad of three, of Tollcross, Glasgow[3], was stopped because of intelligence received by US Customs and Homeland Security.

Officers at the airport ordered him to open his iPhone before allegedly finding a picture of a girl aged “seven to ten” suffering a horrific sex assault.

He was charged with 20 counts of possessing indecent material of children.

The Scot appeared at the Circuit Court in Brevard County, Florida, to deny the charges in late November and was remanded.
