Two drivers have been injured after a crash in Aldershot[1] on Friday (June 1) that saw one other car flee the scene. The crash, which happened on the A325 Farnborough[2] Road, was reported to have happened at around 3.45pm.

The incident saw a white Ford Transit that was travelling southbound be “clipped” by an unknown vehicle, reported to be a “a Tipper type vehicle”, which caused the Transit to crash into a white Land Rover Defender. The unknown vehicle did not stop at the scene.

The crash was reported to have caused the drivers of the Ford Transit and Land Rover Defender to suffer minor injuries. Enquiries have been conducted by Hampshire Constabulary[3] and a public appeal has now been launched to progress the investigation and identify the third vehicle involved in the crash.

Hampshire Constabulary is appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, the vehicles in the moments before, or who has dashcam footage to come forward. A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Did you witness the collision? Perhaps you saw the vehicles in the moments leading up to it? Or maybe you have dash-cam footage that could help us?

“If you saw a vehicle travelling on the southbound A325 around the relevant time that stood out because of the manner of driving, please get in touch. Anyone with information or footage can call us on 101 with reference 44230217042. You can also submit information via our website.”
