A46 in Newark, Nottinghamshire is being affected by congestion causing long delays for traffic

Friday afternoon commutes are being affected as peak hour traffic is causing tailbacks. Stop-start traffic on the A46 Northbound at the A617 (Cattlemarket Roundabout ) is being experienced by drivers. Congestion goes back to the Farndon Roundabout.

Traffic queues are being reported.

Average speeds have dropped down to around ten mph.

Drivers are being asked to exercise patience.
