Nottingham crime: Man knocked unconscious in ‘nasty’ attack at Rock City nightclub

The man was attacked in the cloakroom area of Rock City. A man was knocked unconscious and suffered serious injuries to his face after being assaulted in a popular Nottingham[1] nightclub. Nottinghamshire Police said the man was punched and knocked to the floor at Rock City[2] on Talbot Street, in Nottingham city centre.

The man was assaulted[3] in the cloakroom foyer area of the club[4] at around 2.45am during the ‘Tuned’ student night on Friday, November 3. Officers have urged anyone who saw what happened or who has information to come forward. Det Con Nabeel Dad said: “This nasty assault took place in the cloakroom area and would have been seen by people in the club.

“We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the attack and who may have any information that could aid our investigation.

“We would urge you to come forward and get in contact as soon as possible.”
