Edinburgh police swoop on busy street as officers spotted outside shops and homes
Edinburgh emergency services raced to a busy street in the capital following an incident on Friday, December 29. Police Scotland were spotted outside of the Paton and Finlay Pharmacy in Bruntsfield on Friday afternoon. Two police cars were pictured at the scene with officers spotted nearby.
The exact nature of the incident is unknown at this time though an eye-witness reported seeing a stretcher in Bruntsfield Place.
The incident is understood to have taken place on Friday, December 29 at around 12.40pm with emergency services personnel racing to the scene. One passer-by to the incident said to Edinburgh Live, that it looked like something had occurred inside one of the buildings.
The street has businesses on the ground floor with flats above.
