Police find 1,000 cannabis plants in property

The burglary suspects – aged 25, 31 and 36 – were taken into custody for questioning and later bailed for further inquiries to be carried out.

PC Anand Singh said: “Cannabis production is a serious crime that often brings with it associated offences like burglary, modern slavery and serious acts of violence.

“I would like to thank the 999 caller for alerting us to this incident and our inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
