Police release CCTV images after Nottingham restaurant walkout

Police investigating a walkout at a Nottingham[1] restaurant are searching for two men. Staff at Viet80s[2] in Friar Lane said two customers left without paying their bill of GBP114 on Saturday (December 2) evening. The owner told Nottinghamshire Live she had been left “annoyed” and “upset” by the incident, saying one man picked up the other from outside after telling staff they were going outside to smoke.

Nottinghamshire Police[3] have now released CCTV images of two men they wish to trace who they say could help them with their inquiries. The first man has been described as a white male, approximately 35 to 40 years old, of large build, wearing a blue hat and denim jacket. The second man has been described as an Asian male, in his 40s, of medium build and wearing a grey jacket.

Anyone who recognises the two men in the pictures is urged to contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 0682 of 2 December 2023 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
