Two people have been charged with the murder[1] of a man who was fatally stabbed on Christmas Day[2]. Nottinghamshire Police were called to Wollaton Road at 8.15pm on Monday, December 25, following reports of an assault. Reece Connor was found with a stab wound and died a short time later in hospital.[3] Keaton Adlam-Morgan, aged 23, of Southwold Drive, Wollaton[4] and a 17-year-old boy who has not been named have been charged with murder.

Both are currently in custody and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court[5] on Thursday, December 28. Three other men, aged 32, 26 and 20-years-old have been released on bail whilst the investigation continues. Mr Connor's family are currently receiving support from specially trained officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Croome, of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: "As we announce these charges my thoughts remain with Mr Connor's family, friends and all those who knew and loved him. "They have experienced a very significant trauma and will continue to receive support from Nottinghamshire Police. As our investigation continues, I would also like to thank the team of detectives who have worked around the clock on this investigation to build up a clearer picture of what happened."

Nottinghamshire Police were still in the area days later on Wednesday, December 27.
