Driver injured and A52 to be partially closed for some time after lorry overturns
A driver has been injured after a lorry overturned on a Lincolnshire road. Eyewitnesses saw the HGV on its side in a hedgerow on the A52, to the east of the North Kesteven[1] village of Threekingham[2], at around 8.30am on Thursday, January 10. The road was partially closed in both directions and Lincolnshire Police[3] said it would remain so for “some time”.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed that the driver had been injured in the single-vehicle crash near Holland Road Farm. She said: “The driver of the lorry sustained injuries but it’s not known if they are serious or minor. The road is likely to be closed for some time.”
