Nottingham CCTV appeal after man repeatedly punched in face in ‘nasty’ robbery
Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a man was repeatedly punched during a robbery in Nottingham[1]. The victim was followed by an offender after he got off a bus, possibly the N45 service, in Greyfriar Gate in the city centre[2], at around 4am on November 10. When he reached Wilford Road, the victim was attacked from behind and punched to the floor.
The offender grabbed the victim’s phone from his hand and then struck him in the face repeatedly while demanding the passcode to the device. Once he had been given the passcode, the offender fled on foot in the direction of the Broadmarsh[3] Bus Station. Nottinghamshire Police[4] released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.

“We believe the man pictured could have important information and want to speak to him as a matter of urgency.
If you know him, please contact us.
I’d also appeal to the person responsible for this robbery to do the right thing and come forward.”
