Young man killed when car crashes into pole in Fitzroy North, Melbourne

A young man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Melbourne[2] suburb of Fitzroy.
Police were called to St Georges Rd, near Watkins St, Fitzroy North around 11:30 pm, where they found a car overturned on its side.
Initial reports indicate that the car had collided with a pole before rolling and eventually coming to a holt in front of a church.
A young man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.
The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene.
St George’s Road remains closed in both directions between Reid and Church Street.
