Police probe launched after driver left with life-threatening injuries

A Fiat driver remains in a life-threatening condition after a serious crash on the A34 near Didcot[1] as police launch an appeal for witnesses to come forward. A crash occurred on the southbound carriageway just after 1.05pm on Wednesday, November 20 between a Fiat Ducato Dropside and a Volvo Tipper HGV. The driver of the Fiat, a male aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with this incident. Thames Valley Police launched an appeal for witnesses this morning. Investigating officer PC Tim Cameron, of the joint operations unit for roads policing, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident whereby a driver has sustained serious injuries due to the collision.

“I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward, particularly to anyone with dash-cam footage that may assist with our investigation.
