Wiltshire Police issue statement after fire near school
The fire, which took place near Godolphin School, was reported to the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service at 5.07pm on Wednesday, November 13.
The fire service extinguished the fire and handed the scene to Wiltshire Police.

On Thursday, a fire service spokesperson said: “We were called to Laverstock Road, Salisbury, at 5.07pm for a fire involving two cars and some grass verge.
“One crew from Salisbury attended and two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
“Our stop was at 5.49pm and the incident was left with the police as we believe the fire to have been started deliberately.”
Wiltshire Police has now issued a statement on the blaze.
A spokesperson said: “We are investigating following a fire involving two cars in Laverstock Road, Salisbury, at around 5pm on Wednesday (November 13).
“Our enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting reference 54240134377.”
