A689: Police attend crash at Frosterley, County Durham

Durham Constabulary were called to a crash between a car and a van on the A-road between Stanhope and Frosterley at around 11.10am. The road was partly closed for around 45 minutes to allow police to work at the scene. It has since reopened to all drivers.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 11.10am today to a two-vehicle collision on the A689 near Stanhope.

"Thankfully, nobody was injured during the incident, which involved a car and a van."
