A57 closed after crash involving car and lorry

The A57 is closed in both directions between Darlton and East Markham after a crash involving a car and a lorry.
Nottinghamshire Police said officers were called to the scene at 10:28 BST on Friday.
Firefighters are also in attendance and there are reports of a vehicle on fire, which Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said was producing a large plume of smoke.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and residents living nearby are asked to keep their windows and doors closed. Advertisement Advertisement
