Two children rushed to hospital in serious condition after horror crash on Scots road leaves seven injured

TWO children were rushed to hospital following a two-car horror crash which left seven injured.

Mercy crews[1] were scrambled to the A82 at Invergloy, Highlands, around 5pm on Christmas Eve.

Seven people were taken to Belford Hospital[2] in Fort William, where a woman was later transferred to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

Two children, aged 15 and 6, were transferred to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Cops[3] are looking to speak to the driver of a vehicle which was being overtaken at the time of the crash.

    AN OAP has been left fighting for her life and two people are in hospital after a three-car crash.

    The harrowing smash happened on the A96 at the village of Auldearn in the Highlands at 4.40 on Friday afternoon.

    The collision[1] involved a Black BMW[2] Estate, red Toyota[3] Yaris and green Toyota Hilux towing a trailer.

    Three people in the Yaris were rushed to Raigmore Hospital[4] in Inverness[5] after the crash.

    A 74-year-old woman has been left in a critical condition after the incident.

    Medics say another woman in the car, 51, is in a serious but stable condition.

    cops[6] launched a probe into the incident.

    It was reopened around 1am this morning, over eight hours after the crash.

    Officers have pleaded with any witnesses or people with information to come forward.

    Sergeant David Miller said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or who was in the area around the time to contact us.

    “In particular, if you have dashcam[7] footage that could assist with our investigation[8], please get in touch.”
