A man was seriously injured in a car and lorry crash near the Gloucestershire border.
Emergency services were called to the B4040 near Malmesbury, Wiltshire, at around 4.20pm on Monday, February 23.
Police have now said a 61-year-old man who was travelling in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
A 60-year-old woman inside the same car was also injured, though her wounds were not thought to be serious, Wiltshire Police said.
The lorry driver remained at the scene and no arrests were made, the force said.
Wiltshire Police are now appealing for information from anyone who witnessed what happened.
The force said in a statement: “We attended a serious road traffic collision on the B4040 in Malmesbury at about 4.20pm yesterday, February 23, involving a car and a lorry.
“A 61-year-old man was taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries; a 60-year-old woman who was travelling in the same car also sustained injuries which are not thought to be serious.
“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time. The driver of the lorry remained at the scene and there were no arrests,

“Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting Log number 276.
